What are the post-degree work opportunities and average salary in Singapore for a Master's?
After a master's degree in Singapore, you can stay up to one year on a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) to search for a job, but you cannot work during this time. Once you have a job offer, your employer can apply for an Employment Pass (EP) for you.
- EP minimum salary: SGD 5,600/month (rising to SGD 6,000 from 2027)
- S Pass (mid-skilled roles): Minimum SGD 3,300/month
- Starting salary for master's graduates: Typically SGD 5,000 - 8,000/month, depending on the role and sector
Popular sectors include technology, finance, consulting, engineering, and data analytics. With stable employment on an EP, you may be eligible to apply for permanent residency after 2 - 3 years.
