You can access post-study work opportunities after studying abroad, including in Malaysia and other major destinations.

Malaysia:
- Graduate Pass (Social Visit Pass - Graduate): Lets eligible graduates stay and seek work for up to 12 months after finishing a degree from an accredited Malaysian institution (minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00). Apply within six months of graduation.
- Employment Pass (EP): For long-term jobs with a confirmed offer. Salary and validity vary by category (from RM3,000/month for up to 12 months, to RM10,000+/month for up to five years).

Other countries:
- Australia: Temporary Graduate Visa allows 2 - 4 years of open work after eligible study.
- Canada: Post-Graduation Work Permit for up to 3 years, open work rights.
- UK: Graduate Visa for 2 years (master’s/undergrad), 3 years (PhD), flexible work. This 2-year period applies to applications made before 1 January 2027; applications submitted on or after that date receive 18 months, while PhD graduates continue to receive 3 years.
- US: Optional Practical Training (OPT) for 12 - 36 months, then employer sponsorship needed for long-term stay.

Visa rules and durations are subject to change.
