What are the English proficiency test options available and which one should I take in USA for a Master's?
Both TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) and IELTS (International English Language Testing System) are accepted for Master's admissions in the USA.
- TOEFL: Computer-based, 2 hours, scored 0 - 120. Widely accepted and often preferred by U.S. universities.
- IELTS: Paper or computer-based, 2 hours 45 minutes, scored 0 - 9 bands. Also accepted by many U.S. universities.
