It depends on the visa pathway you choose after your studies in the UAE. There is no automatic post-study work visa - settling requires meeting specific criteria:

- Employment visa: Most graduates stay by securing a full-time job; your employer sponsors your work visa.
- Job seeker visa: If you don't have a job offer, you can apply for a job seeker visa (60 - 120 days) if you recently graduated from a recognized university and can provide a financial guarantee.
- Green visa: For skilled professionals and freelancers, requires a job offer with a minimum monthly salary (currently AED 15,000) or freelance work.
- Golden visa: For outstanding graduates and exceptional talent; requires high academic achievement or professional distinction.
- Language: No official requirement, but strong English skills are essential for work and daily life.
- Financial criteria: Self-sponsored visas require proof of income or financial stability.

You must change your visa status before your student visa expires, usually within a 30-day grace period.
