To qualify for a PGWP:
- Program of Study: You must complete a program of at least 8 months at a Designated Learning Institution (DLI).
- Full-Time Enrollment: Maintain full-time student status during your studies (final semester can be part-time).
- Application Timeline: Apply within 180 days of receiving confirmation of program completion.
- Valid Study Permit: Your study permit must have been valid at some point during the 180 days before your PGWP application.
- PGWP Duration: For programs 8 months - 2 years, the permit matches your program length; for 2 years or more, you may get a 3-year permit.
