After completing a master's in Ireland, you can stay for up to 24 months on the post-study work visa, with an initial 12 months and a possible 12-month extension. In the UK, master's graduates can stay for 2 years if you apply before 1 January 2027, but from that date, the duration will change to 18 months. Always check official immigration sites for the latest updates.

After completing a master's in the UK, you can get a post-study work visa (Graduate Visa).

- 2 years if you apply on or before 31 December 2026
- 18 months if you apply on or after 1 January 2027

This visa lets you work at any skill level without a job offer but cannot be extended beyond its set duration. Visa rules are subject to change.
