Is the GRE English score enough to get through without IELTS?
No, the GRE verbal score alone is generally not accepted as a substitute for IELTS or other English proficiency tests for admission.
Most universities require a valid IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent test score to demonstrate English proficiency, even if you have a high GRE verbal score. Some institutions may waive IELTS if your previous education was in English or if you provide a Medium of Instruction certificate, but the GRE verbal score by itself usually does not meet the requirement.
