Is PR (permanent residency) available in Dubai or UAE after studies for a Master's?
No, the UAE (including Dubai) does not offer traditional permanent residency (PR) after studies.
Instead, you can apply for long-term residency visas:
- Job Seeker Visa: Stay 60 - 120 days to find a job after graduation.
- Employer-Sponsored Work Visa: 2 - 3 year renewable visa if you secure employment.
- Green Visa: 5-year renewable, self-sponsored visa for skilled professionals (minimum monthly salary required).
- Golden Visa: 5 or 10-year renewable visa for exceptional graduates or skilled professionals meeting higher criteria.
These visas allow long-term stay and work but are not permanent in the usual sense. Completing a master's in the UAE improves eligibility but does not guarantee these visas.
