Is it possible to purchase UK citizenship?
No, you cannot directly purchase UK citizenship. The UK does not have a "citizenship by investment" program.
Some visa routes, like the former Tier 1 Investor Visa (now closed), allowed for residency through significant investment, but this did not guarantee citizenship. Currently, the Innovator Founder Visa is available for entrepreneurs with an endorsed business idea, but it does not offer direct citizenship.
To become a citizen, you must first obtain residency, then Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), and only after meeting all requirements can you apply for citizenship. These policies are subject to change.
