Is it possible to get a loan for studying abroad and repay it after getting a job placement?
Yes, you can get an education loan for studying abroad and usually start repayment after your course, once you secure a job.
Most Indian education loans offer a moratorium period - typically course duration plus 6 months - during which you don’t need to make payments. However, interest accrues during this time and is added to your loan if unpaid, increasing your total repayment.
Once the moratorium ends, you must start repaying through EMIs, regardless of job placement. If you haven’t secured a job by then, repayment is still required from your own funds.
