Is it better for my son to do BTech in India or go abroad for it in UK/Australia?

It depends on your son's goals, budget, and career plans.

- India: Top institutes like IITs and NITs offer strong academics and excellent placements at a much lower cost (₹2 - 15 lakh total). Ideal if he wants to work in India and prefers affordability.
- Abroad: Countries like the USA, UK, Canada, Germany, and Australia provide international exposure, advanced research, and global job opportunities, but at a higher cost (₹40 lakh - ₹1.2 crore total). Starting salaries abroad can be significantly higher, and cultural experiences are broader.

If global exposure and international work are priorities and finances allow, studying abroad can be advantageous. For a cost-effective, high-quality education with strong local placements, India is a solid choice.
