It depends. Many Irish universities accept the Duolingo English Test (DET) for master's admissions, but the Irish student visa process typically requires IELTS Academic or PTE Academic as proof of English proficiency (subject to change).
To avoid issues with your visa application, it is strongly recommended to take IELTS Academic or PTE Academic, as these are widely accepted for both university and visa requirements in Ireland.
