If the scholarship option does not work out or I do not get a reply, can I work as a doctor in Canada or Germany?

It is possible to work as a doctor in Canada or Germany as an international medical graduate, but the process is competitive and involves several steps.

Canada:
- Credential assessment by the Medical Council of Canada (MCC)
- Language proficiency in English or French
- Licensing exams (MCCQE Part I, and possibly the National Assessment Collaboration exam)
- Residency training in Canada (2 - 7 years, depending on specialty)
- Provincial licensure after completing residency

Germany:
- Medical degree recognition by the relevant state authority
- German language proficiency (B2 general, C1 medical level)
- Licensing exam (Kenntnisprüfung) if required
- Approbation (state license to practice medicine)

Both pathways are rigorous and can take several years. Requirements and timelines are subject to change.
