Yes, your family member in Canada can support you with your study permit process by helping gather documents, offering a letter of invitation, or providing local guidance. However, they cannot apply for the visa on your behalf or guarantee approval.

You must submit your study permit application yourself or appoint an authorized representative by completing the Use of a Representative form (IMM 5476). All eligibility and document requirements remain your responsibility.
