If I apply now, when should I give my GMAT exam since preparation takes time in UK/Ireland?

You should plan to take the GMAT by mid-2026 if you are targeting the September 2027 intake in the UK or Ireland. This gives you enough time to prepare, receive your scores, and retake the exam if needed before application deadlines.

- March - April 2026: Register for the GMAT and finalize your target programs.
- April - May 2026: Begin GMAT preparation (at least 6 weeks recommended).
- June - July 2026: Take the GMAT.
- July - August 2026: Retake if you want to improve your score.
- September 2026: Submit applications for Round 1 deadlines.

Starting early increases your chances for scholarships and preferred programs.
