A PTE score review must typically be requested within 14 calendar days of score publication. It is a paid service costing around USD 160. Pearson usually refunds the fee in full if your Overall or Communicative Skills scores change, and otherwise the fee is non-refundable.

A PTE rescore is a paid manual re-evaluation of your spoken and open-ended written responses, and you typically have 14 calendar days from score publication to ask for it. The fee is around USD 160 (approx INR 15,240), so decide quickly.

Who Can Request a Rescore

  • You can only request a rescore for your most recent test attempt.
  • You cannot request it if you have already scheduled another test.
  • You also cannot request it if you have shared or sent your scores to an institution.
  • Check the official Pearson page for the latest fee and window.

My Advice

Request a rescore only if your speaking or writing result looks far below your practice scores. Act inside the window and before you send scores anywhere, since sending them can end your eligibility.
