How is the GMAT exam pattern and what type of questions are asked?

The GMAT Focus Edition (2024) is a 2-hour 15-minute computer-based test with three main sections:

- Quantitative Reasoning: 21 questions, 45 minutes. Includes problem solving and data sufficiency questions to assess numerical and analytical skills.
- Verbal Reasoning: 23 questions, 45 minutes. Covers reading comprehension and critical reasoning to test your understanding and evaluation of written material.
- Data Insights: 20 questions, 45 minutes. Focuses on interpreting data from tables, graphs, and multiple sources, with question types like data sufficiency, table analysis, and graphics interpretation.

Each section is scored 60 - 90, with a total score range of 205 - 805. Question difficulty adapts as you progress. There is an optional 10-minute break.
