You must show proof of funds for both tuition and living expenses when applying for a student visa to the UK or UAE.

- UK: You need to demonstrate funds for your tuition (as listed on your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) plus living expenses. For London, it's £1,529/month (up to 9 months, total £13,761); outside London, £1,171/month (up to 9 months, total £10,539). Funds must be held for at least 28 consecutive days before applying.

- UAE: Proof of funds is also required for tuition and living expenses. The exact amount varies by university and emirate. Some universities may accept education loans, but policies differ.

Visa financial requirements are subject to change.
