Germany is generally more affordable and offers a faster path to permanent residency, while the UK provides shorter, intensive programs at a higher cost.

- Tuition fees: Germany’s public universities usually have no tuition fees, just a semester contribution (€150 - 390). UK tuition for international students ranges from £12,000 - £35,000/year (subject to change).
- Program duration: Germany: 2 years. UK: 1 year.
- Living costs: Germany: €934 - €1,200/month. UK: £1,000 - £1,500/month (subject to change).
- Post-study work visa: Germany: 18-month post-study permit, with a path to permanent residency after 21 months (EU Blue Card). UK: 2-year Graduate Route (PSW), which does not count towards the 5-year permanent residency requirement.

If your priorities are lower costs, research opportunities, and quicker permanent residency, Germany is a strong option. If you prefer a shorter, intensive program and are comfortable with higher expenses, the UK may suit you better.
