You cannot work more than 20 hours per week during term time on a UK student visa for a master's degree. This 20-hour/week limit applies to all paid and unpaid work combined, and exceeding it can lead to serious consequences, including visa curtailment or future refusals.

- During official university vacations, you may work full-time, but "vacation" periods are defined by your university.
- Self-employment, freelancing, running a business, professional sports, and entertainment roles are not allowed on a student visa.

If you want to work full-time in the UK after your studies, you may be eligible for the post-study work visa (PSW), which allows graduates to work without hourly limits. Visa rules and work rights are subject to change.
