Can you clarify if PG diploma courses in the UK and Ireland offer PR or long-term stay options?
PG Diploma courses in the UK and Ireland can provide post-study work opportunities, but do not directly lead to permanent residency (PR) or guaranteed long-term stay. In the UK, if your PG Diploma is from an eligible institution and meets the requirements, you may qualify for a Graduate Visa, allowing up to two years of work after graduation. In Ireland, if your PG Diploma is recognized at the appropriate level, you may be eligible for the Stamp 1G visa, which lets you stay and work full-time for a certain period. However, these options are temporary and do not automatically lead to PR. If you would like to discuss your specific course eligibility, please connect with your LeapScholar counsellor.
