Can the proof of funds be from parents' salary slips or business ITRs in UK?
Yes, you can use your parents' salary slips or business Income Tax Returns (ITRs) as part of your financial proof for a UK student visa, but only when combined with other required documents.
To use your parents' financial support, you must also provide:
- A letter from your parents stating they will support you financially and consent to their funds being used for your visa.
- Your birth certificate to prove your relationship with your parents.
Note: UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) requires the actual funds to be in a personal bank account (not a business account) in your or your parents' names, held for at least 28 consecutive days before your application. Salary slips or ITRs alone are not sufficient - they support but do not replace the need for bank statements.
