Australia IELTS - Prep, validity & retakes

Australia has stricter requirements - IELTS 7.0 overall with all bands at 7.0 (except Writing at 6.5), or OET Grade B in Nursing. The USA requires IELTS 6.5 to 7.0 or TOEFL 90 to 100. You can fully prepare and sit all these exams from India at IDP, Pearson VUE, or OET-approved centres.

IELTS and TOEFL are the most widely accepted English proficiency tests globally. Some universities also accept PTE or Duolingo. IELTS is often considered the most versatile option because it is accepted across the USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and across universities in Europe.
