Are there six months online or hybrid study programs that offer post-study work visas in Ireland?

It depends. In Ireland, only full-time, on-campus programs from recognized institutions typically qualify for the post-study work visa (Stamp 1G).

- Online or hybrid programs: These generally do not make you eligible for the post-study work visa unless you are physically present in Ireland and the course is accredited, full-time, and listed on the Interim List of Eligible Programmes (ILEP).
- Short programs: A six-month duration is usually not enough, as most eligible courses are at least one year full-time at NFQ Level 8 or above.

If you’re considering a specific program, discuss its eligibility for the post-study work visa with your LeapScholar counsellor before applying. Visa policies are subject to change.
