Yes, as an international student pursuing a master’s degree in the UK, you can work alongside your studies and after graduation. During term time, you are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week, and you can work full-time during official university vacations. After completing your master’s, you may be eligible for the Graduate Visa, which lets you stay and work in the UK for up to two years (changing to 18 months for applications submitted on or after 1 January 2027). Be sure to follow all visa conditions, particularly regarding work limits and types of employment allowed. If you need detailed guidance, your LeapScholar counsellor can help.
