- Eligible if: Your program is at least 8 months, leads to a diploma or degree from a recognized institution, and has a CIP (Classification of Instructional Programs) code on the current eligible list (subject to change).
- CIP code freeze: As of June 2026, the eligible CIP code list is frozen - no changes during this period.
- Exemption: If you applied for your study permit before 1 Nov 2024, you are exempt from the field of study requirement.
