Am I eligible for the Gates Cambridge Scholarship at Cambridge?
The Gates Cambridge Scholarship is for citizens of any country except the United Kingdom applying for a full-time or part-time PhD, or an eligible full-time MLitt or one-year postgraduate course at Cambridge. You must also gain admission and show academic excellence, leadership potential and commitment to improving others' lives.
You are eligible if you are not a UK citizen and are applying for an eligible postgraduate programme at the University of Cambridge. You also need to secure admission and demonstrate the four selection criteria the scholarship looks for.

My Advice
Treat the admission application as step one, since the scholarship decision follows it. Confirm that your exact course is on the eligible list before you invest time in the essays.
