After my three years of post-study work visa ends, can I get the work visa renewed or apply for PR in Australia?

You cannot renew the Temporary Graduate (subclass 485) post-study work visa after it expires. However, you can apply for permanent residency (PR) or other work visas through several pathways:

- Skilled Migration Visas: If your occupation is on the Skilled Occupation List, you may be eligible for options like the Skilled Independent (subclass 189), Skilled Nominated (subclass 190), or Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) (subclass 491). These are points-based and consider age, education, work experience, and English proficiency.
- Employer-Sponsored Visas: With a job offer, you could qualify for the Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa (subclass 482), which can lead to PR via the Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186).
- Regional Pathways: Working in regional Australia can provide extra points and additional PR options.

Visa rules and eligibility are subject to change. For next steps, please speak with your LeapScholar counsellor for tailored guidance.
