Yes, you can settle in Canada after completing your studies abroad, but it depends on the immigration pathway you choose.

- If you study in Canada, you may be eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), which allows you to gain Canadian work experience and strengthens your chances for permanent residency through programs like Express Entry or Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs).
- If you study outside Canada, your degree can still support your Canadian immigration application, but you will not qualify for a PGWP. In this case, you’ll need to explore other pathways such as Express Entry, provincial nominations, or obtaining a Canadian job offer.

You do not have to return to India immediately after your studies if you secure the right work or immigration permit.
