After completing my master's in the UK, will there be an extension of my visa to allow time for job searching?

Yes, after completing your master's in the UK, you can apply for the Graduate Visa, which allows you to stay and work or look for work without employer sponsorship.

- If you apply on or before 31 December 2026: stay for 2 years.
- If you apply on or after 1 January 2027: stay for 18 months.

During this time, you can work in most jobs, be self-employed, or search for employment. The Graduate Visa cannot be extended further - if you want to stay longer, you’ll need to secure a job offer and switch to a Skilled Worker Visa before your Graduate Visa expires.
