After completing my degree abroad, can I get a job there or do I have to come back to India in UK/UAE for a Master's?
Yes, you can stay and work in the country where you complete your degree, as long as you meet that country's post-study work visa (PSW) requirements.
- UK: The Graduate Route allows you to work for up to 2 years after a master's degree. For courses finishing on or after 1 Jan 2027, this will reduce to 18 months. You must apply before your student visa expires, and your university must confirm your course completion.
- UAE: You may be eligible for a Job Seeker Visa (60 - 120 days) if you graduate from a top 500 university, or you can stay if you secure a job and your employer sponsors your work visa.
Visa rules and durations are subject to change.
