What is the full form of ADHD?

The full form of ADHD is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects brain activity, making it difficult for a person to focus, struggle with abrupt and spontaneous behaviour control, act out excessively, and have difficulties sitting still. Although ADHD has no proven treatment, several therapies and therapy sessions can help manage and improve the symptoms as a person ages. Before the kid reaches age 13, the symptoms must begin, or they must persist for at least seven months and have created issues in at least two settings, such as the classroom, the household, or when other people are present.

Types

ADHD is categorised into three kinds according to the severity of the symptoms:

  • ADHD individuals who fall into this category are impulsive and energetic, yet they are not easily distracted or have trouble focusing.

Causes

Impact of ADHD on daily life
