Will the university help me find jobs at my level during or after my studies in UK for a Master's/PhD?
Yes, UK universities offer strong support to help you find jobs or internships during and after your master's studies. Dedicated career services provide career advice, CV and interview preparation, job fairs, networking events, and access to exclusive job boards.
Many universities also have partnerships with employers for internships and work placements relevant to your level. While support is extensive, your own engagement and networking are important for job success.
You can also use university career services after graduation, and may be eligible for the UK Graduate Visa (post-study work visa), which allows you to stay and work for up to 2 years. This 2-year period applies to applications made before 1 January 2027; applications submitted on or after that date receive 18 months, while PhD graduates continue to receive 3 years.
