Yes, the credibility interview usually takes place after you submit your UK student visa application and biometric details, but before your visa is fully processed.
If selected, UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) will contact you with interview details. Attending this interview is important - missing it without a valid reason can lead to visa refusal.
