While applying for the BMAT exam, there are two options: General and Academic test. Which one should I book in Germany for a Master's?

The BMAT (BioMedical Admissions Test) does not have separate "General" or "Academic" versions - it is a single standardized test for medical, dental, and veterinary admissions. You should register for the standard BMAT exam.

However, the BMAT has been discontinued for applicants starting university in 2025. Many universities now require the UCAT (University Clinical Aptitude Test) or other assessments instead.

If you are applying for a Master's program in Germany, the relevant test is the Digital Master Assessment Test (dMAT), not the BMAT.
