Which universities suit a graduate in Physiotherapy applying to UK or Germany?

The UK and Germany solve two different problems for a BPT graduate, so the right choice depends on whether you want to practise clinically soon or you are optimising for lower cost first and language later.

Why King's College London Over an Advanced Clinical MSc

King's College London's pre-registration MSc Physiotherapy is aimed at graduates who are not yet UK-registered physiotherapists and leads to eligibility to apply for HCPC registration on completion. Queen Margaret University, the University of Worcester, and Northumbria University run comparable HCPC-linked pre-registration programmes. If you already hold a recognised physiotherapy qualification, an advanced MSc such as UCL's Advanced Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) suits you better than repeating pre-registration training.

The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the UK's official regulator for physiotherapists, publishes its list of approved postgraduate physiotherapy programmes on its own site. King's College London and the University of Worcester also confirm HCPC approval on their own programme pages.

My Advice

Do not pick a UK MSc Physiotherapy just because it has physiotherapy in the title. Some, like Brunel's, explicitly say they are not suitable for already-qualified physiotherapists. If cost is your main constraint and you are willing to spend a year on German first, FAU Erlangen-Nurnberg's English-taught Physical Activity and Health master's is a reasonable non-clinical backup while you build German toward a clinical route later.
