My Advice

If R&D and product design are genuinely your priority, resist the pull toward Cybersecurity or Cloud Computing just because those fields sound like safer bets for jobs right now. A systems or mechanical engineering master's with strong electives keeps you closer to product-development roles, and you can still pick up cloud or security skills through electives or later certifications without narrowing your degree.
