Which English tests count as approved Secure English Language Tests (SELTs) for my UK visa?
For UK visas that require English testing, the current approved Secure English Language Tests are IELTS, Pearson PTE, LanguageCert, PSI, and Trinity. TOEFL is not on this approved list, so applicants who have only taken TOEFL will need one of these five instead.

What This Means if You Have Taken TOEFL
Since TOEFL does not appear on the approved SELT list, a TOEFL score will not satisfy a UK visa route that specifically requires a Secure English Language Test, even though many universities accept TOEFL for admission. You would need to sit one of the five approved options separately for the visa itself.
