Which documents do I need to settle in Spain from India?
You typically need a valid passport, visa application form, photographs, proof of your reason for moving, proof of funds, accommodation proof and health insurance. Depending on your route, you may also need police clearance, medical certificate, academic records, civil documents and proof of fee payment.
Your documents must show who you are, why you are moving to Spain and how you will support yourself. Along with a passport and visa form, you will need proof linked to your route, such as an admission letter, work authorisation or family documents.

My Advice
Identify your visa route first, because it decides which extra papers you need. Indian public documents may need an apostille and a Spanish translation, so check the official consulate page for the latest requirements.
