You can take the IELTS exam either at a test center or online from home, but with some conditions.
- Test center: Available across India for Academic and General Training. Both paper-based and computer-delivered options are offered.
- At home (online): Only the Academic test is available online in India. The Speaking section is conducted by video call. This option is not accepted for immigration.
For UK study, taking the IELTS at an authorized test center is the safest and most widely accepted choice.
