Where can I check the status of my Australia Awards Scholarship application?
Check your Australia Awards status through the portal used to apply, which is OASIS for most countries. Log in, open your submitted application, review messages or status changes, and watch your registered email. If anything is unclear, contact the official country office.
You can check your status through the portal or process you used to submit. For most countries, applications go through OASIS, the Online Australia Awards Scholarships Information System.
Steps to Check Your Status
| Step | What to do |
|---|---|
| Step 1 | Log in to OASIS with your username and password to reach the application dashboard |
| Step 2 | Open the submitted Australia Awards Scholarship application |
| Step 3 | Review application messages, document requests or status changes |
| Step 4 | Check your registered email for updates from the Australia Awards office or country program |
| Step 5 | Contact the official country office if you need clarification |
When Outcomes Are Usually Shared
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and local participating embassies typically notify applicants of selection outcomes by email, usually between August and late September. That period has already passed for 2026, so if you applied in this cycle and have not heard anything, check your portal and email and then contact the country office.
My Advice
Check both the portal and your registered email, including spam folders, because document requests can appear in either place. Timelines can differ by country program, so confirm with the official Australia Awards page for your country.
