He has not taken the IELTS exam yet. For September 2026 intake in Ireland, the UK, and France, most universities require an overall IELTS score of 6.5, with no band below 6.0 (subject to change).

Some universities may offer an IELTS waiver if all previous education was in English, but this is not guaranteed and is reviewed case by case.
