To pursue postgraduate medical studies in New Zealand (such as internal medicine or gynecology) as an international medical graduate, you must:

- Hold an MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ).
- Pass the NZREX Clinical exam, which tests your clinical skills to New Zealand standards.
- Demonstrate English proficiency, usually with an IELTS Academic score of at least 7.5 overall and no band below 7.0 (subject to change).
- Obtain provisional registration with MCNZ after passing NZREX, then apply for postgraduate training registration to work under supervision in New Zealand hospitals.
- Apply to specialist training programs (such as those run by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians for internal medicine or RANZCOG for gynecology) after gaining the required supervised experience.

You will also need a job offer from a New Zealand hospital and must complete background checks, health assessments, and visa steps.
