After your German student visa is approved, here’s what you need to do and the documents you’ll require:

1. Travel to Germany: Arrange your flight and carry your visa, passport, university admission letter, and proof of financial means.

2. Accommodation: Secure housing and keep your rental agreement or accommodation confirmation.

3. Register Your Residence: Within two weeks of arrival, register your address at the local residents’ office (Einwohnermeldeamt/Bürgeramt) with:
- Passport with visa
- Rental agreement/accommodation confirmation
- Completed registration form

4. Apply for Residence Permit: Visit the local foreigners’ office (Ausländerbehörde) with:
- Valid passport with visa
- Registration certificate
- University enrollment certificate
- Proof of financial means (blocked account or equivalent)
- Health insurance confirmation
- Passport-sized photos
- Application forms

5. Health Insurance: Make sure your health insurance is valid and registered with your university or local authorities.

6. University Enrollment: Complete enrollment formalities, pay semester fees, and collect your student ID.
