MBA placement rates in India are currently very high, especially at top institutions. As of June 2026:
- IIM Calcutta: 100% placement for the MBA 2026 batch, with the highest domestic package at ₹1.5 crore/year.
- XLRI Jamshedpur: 99 - 100% placement, highest domestic package at ₹59 lakh/year.
- KJ Somaiya Institute of Management: 97% of the MBA 2024 - 26 batch placed.
These figures show strong demand for MBA graduates from leading Indian business schools. Placement rates and salary figures are subject to change each year.
