What is the minimum fixed deposit maturity period required for Australia visa applications?
You must show that your fixed deposit (FD) is accessible at the time of your Australian student visa application. The FD should either:
- Mature on or before your visa application date, or
- Be accompanied by a bank letter stating early withdrawal is allowed without penalty.
Additionally, the FD should have been opened at least three months before your application to demonstrate genuine access to funds.
Visa requirements are subject to change. For guidance on your specific situation, connect with your LeapScholar counsellor.
