Here’s what happens next after your initial discussion and university selection for studying in Italy or the UK:

1. Confirm Admission
- Pay any required tuition/enrollment fees to secure your seat.
- Receive your official acceptance letter (UK: Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies or CAS).

2. Pre-Enrollment (Italy only)
- Complete pre-enrollment on the Universitaly portal and wait for university validation.

3. Prepare Visa Documents

For Italy:
- Valid passport (6+ months validity)
- Type D student visa form
- Admission letter and pre-enrollment confirmation
- Proof of funds (about €10,179/year)
- Proof of accommodation
- Health insurance
- Academic transcripts and Declaration of Value
- Cover letter and travel reservation

For the UK:
- Valid passport
- CAS number
- Proof of funds (e.g., £1,329/month London, £1,023/month elsewhere, up to 9 months)
- IELTS or other English test results
- TB test certificate (if required)
- Academic transcripts
- Immigration Health Surcharge payment

4. Apply for Student Visa
- Schedule and attend your visa appointment in India.
- Submit documents, biometrics, and pay the visa fee (Italy: approx. €50, UK: £490; subject to change).
- Processing times: Italy 4 - 8 weeks, UK about 3 weeks. Apply at least 3 months before your course starts.

5. After Arrival
- Italy: Apply for a residence permit within 8 days.
- UK: Collect your Biometric Residence Permit within 10 days.

Visa fees and requirements are subject to change.
