What is the entrance exam process for masters in Germany, including exam dates and eligibility?

It depends on the university and program. Most German universities do not require a centralized entrance exam like GRE or GATE for Master's admission. Instead, eligibility is based on your academic background, language proficiency, and sometimes program-specific tests.

Key eligibility and requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a strong GPA
- Language proficiency: IELTS/TOEFL for English-taught programs (usually minimum IELTS 6.5); TestDaF/DSH for German-taught programs
- APS certificate is mandatory for Indian students to verify academic credentials

Some universities have additional entrance exams:
