IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, and Duolingo are all English proficiency tests, but they differ in format, scoring, and acceptance.

- IELTS: Paper or computer-based, includes face-to-face speaking, scored 0 - 9 bands. Widely accepted in the UK, Australia, Canada, and more.
- TOEFL: Internet-based, all sections on computer, speaking is recorded, scored out of 120. Preferred by many US and Canadian universities.
- PTE: Fully computer-based, AI-scored speaking, scale of 10 - 90. Accepted in Australia, UK, Canada, and New Zealand. Fast results.
- Duolingo: Online from home, adaptive format, scored uniquely. Lower cost and quick results, but not universally accepted - always check university and visa requirements.

Choose based on your target country, university preferences, test format comfort, and how quickly you need results. Test costs and acceptance are subject to change.
