You’ll need these key documents for your UK Student visa application:

- Valid passport for the full duration of your stay
- Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from your UK university
- Proof of funds showing you can cover tuition and living expenses (current minimum: £1,334/month in London, £1,023/month outside London; subject to change)
- English language proficiency evidence (such as IELTS for UKVI or PTE Academic for UKVI; TOEFL is not accepted)
- Tuberculosis (TB) test certificate from a UKVI-approved clinic (required for applicants from India)
- Academic transcripts and certificates from previous studies
- Visa application form and payment of the standard fee (£490) plus the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) (£776/year; subject to change)
- Passport-sized photographs meeting UK visa standards

If you have a medical emergency or relevant medical history, include supporting medical certificates only if specifically requested by UKVI or your university.

If you are under 18, you’ll also need a parental consent letter.

For any special circumstances or if you are unsure about medical documentation, please contact your LeapScholar counsellor for guidance.
